This 90’s lake home located in the western Wisconsin region was in need of a modern transformation. The existing kitchen and dining spaces are entirely void of a view of the lake. In addition, interior finishes are outdated, with knotty pine and carpet throughout. By creating an open floor plan, we rotated the kitchen layout and removed the main interior wall separating it from the living area, thus creating an expansive view of the lake. In addition, the existing vaulted ceiling was converted to a 10 feet flat ceiling, and adding a dormer with full floor-to-ceiling windows expanded the direct connection with the lake.
